Hurling and Gaelic Football:

In conjunction with our local G.A.A. Club and under our school coach Mr. Quinn we participate in the Kilkenny Schools' Leagues and I.N.T.O.  Mini Sevens.   Recent Achievements:        Semi-finalists in Gaelic Football - Kilkenny Schools League.

Soccer:

We participate in F.A.I. organised Waterford Schools' Competitions - i.e. Ribena, 5 a-side and the Jack Kennedy Memorial Cup.                                        Recent Achievements:    A team from 3rd / 4th classes represented Kilkenny in the Leinster Fustal  Finals reaching the semi-final stages (Jan. 2009).

Camogie:   

Coached by Ms. A. Brennan and Ms. D. Maher our school is a regular entrant in the Kilkenny Schools' League and the I.N.T.O. mini-sevens.                   Recent Achieventnts:    As  a new venture we are gaining strength year by year.

Swimming:    

This is done as part of our P.E. Programme.  Each class grouping (1st - 6th) receives 8 weeks I.W.S.A. coaching in our local Waterford Crystal swimming pool.  Examination based certificates are awarded upon completion of these sessions.

Sports Day:  

Our fantastic School Sports Day, organised by our Parents' Associationl, is held on one of the Sundays in late May or early June. This is a fun day open to all our entire school community with pre-school and novelty events.

Mini Schools Leagues:

Summer term is very activity based for all pupils.  Different mini leagues are held within the school promoting sociability, participation and fair play.

Visiting Coaches:

This year we welcomed the valuable input of F.A.I. Coach Mr. Gary Power and our regular visiting Soccer Coach Ms. Siobhan Furlong.

     Our soccer team represented Kilkenny in the Leinster Fustal Finals reaching the semi-final stages - Jan. 2009.
