The association is involved in organising and helping out with various activities. Some of these take place during school hours and some are after school activities. The association works closely with the teachers to ensure that these events are as enjoyable as possible for all involved. The following is a list of some of the activities that the Parents Association have been happy to be involved with in recent years. Some of them have been fundraising events and some are just for fun:

  • Halloween Fancy Dress Disco
    Annual Christmas Party
    Cake Sales
    Book Fairs
Skipathon in aid of the Irish Heart Foundation
    Table Quizzes
    School Sports Day
  • School Open Day
  • This school year 2004 / 2005 the Parents Association have paid for transport to shows in Waterford to Garter Lane and Theatre Royal. Each child in the school has benefitted from this subsidy. They have also organised after school basketball which is proving very popular.

The Parents Association is open to all parents and is always looking for new members as these events take a lot of work, so the more the merrier !

In May 2004 a very successful fund raising night was organised by the parents at Waterford Greyhound Track. Grateful thanks to all for the great support in this venture.
